WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS

KRFC 88.9 FM is volunteer-powered and thus always on the lookout for community members who would like to be a part of an exciting and ever-evolving organization. There are many ways to volunteer, including event staff, on-air programming, and behind-the-scenes and technical support. If you are interested in being involved at KRFC 88.9 FM Radio Fort Collins we encourage you to reach out to volunteer@krfcfm.org.

WANT TO BE A DJ AT KRFC?

Volunteering takes many forms but most people want to be DJs. While we do have some DJ shifts open training requires time, dedication, and commitment on the part of the trainee, staff, and current volunteers.

There are A LOT of people in line to become a KRFC DJ and programmers. Staff will reach out to potential DJs in the order they sign up and look at availability, station programming needs, flexibility for training, and show ideas. This will help determine who is trained and when.

Please do not sign up for training if you expect to have big life changes that will cause delays in training, an inability to complete training, or will not leave you time to be on air once training is complete.

Most DJ Training takes place Monday through Friday in the mornings and early afternoon. If you don’t have that available it will be hard to get through training.

**If you don’t want to be a DJ but have other volunteer ideas please email: volunteer@krfcfm.org**
